I’ve been flooded—pun intended—with offers to help, and honestly, it was overwhelming in the best way possible. No electricity has been a challenge, especially since it's been out since 10/9 and today is 10/14/24, but hey, if you know me, you know I’ve been training for this moment for years. 💪
Thanks to my trusty solar generators, I’m still kicking! I’ve got a Bluetti that powers essentials like Wi-Fi, fans, phones, music... and, of course, workout videos—because even in chaos, priorities. And let’s not forget the Titan Solar Generator, a gift from one of my amazing clients (you know who you are—extra massages for you ). That beauty has kept my computer, lights, and fans going like a champ. If I had more batteries, I’d be powering a hairdryer and curling iron too... but let’s not get greedy, right? And besides it only powers things for like 8 hours and then I have to get it plugged in somewhere (with a trusty friend) to charge it because the solar panel is just not making it...lolol
Speaking of chaos, Fort Pierce got hit with a few tornadoes—because apparently, the weather wanted to join the party. One twister leveled the iconic “Red Barn,” and our hearts go out to everyone affected. 💔 Unfortunately, a lot of power lines ended up on the ground instead of above it, and FPL swore they had 500 people working around the clock... but when I drove by at 8 PM on Sunday october 13th, 2024? Not a soul in sight. Guess my neighborhood didn’t make the “Essential” list.
Anyway, now that I’ve updated you, I’ll get this posted before my battery runs out.
